Each of our coaches bring a little different area of expertise and coaching style to the Rock Steady Program.
Head Coaches
Lori Kelly
Lori has been a coach with Rock Steady Boxing for over 7 years. A native of North Carolina Lori has been involved in exercise since she was a young teen. Lori graduated from UNC-G with a degree in education. When her children began elementary school she started working as a Wellness trainer and instructor in Raleigh. Lori found her niche with STEP aerobics and began acquiring specialty certifications in all areas of fitness. Rock Steady Boxing has allowed her to adapt her kickboxing skills to special populations, specifically those with Parkinson’s disease. She loves to see people achieve goals they did not think were possible.

Penny Fuehrer
Penny, a certified Rock Steady boxing coach, has been coaching at Winston-Salem Rock Steady Boxing for over three years.
With over 17 years in the fitness industry - including personal training, leading boot camps and soccer coaching - she brings a diverse and energetic approach to boxing sessions. Penny enjoys challenging participants with new and exciting workouts.
Her goal is to help you discover your inner fighter - pushing you to work hard while still having some fun!
Penny enjoys gardening and spends a ridiculous amount of time playing pickle ball.
Michelle Toborg
Michelle graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI with a BS in Physical Therapy. In 2022 she earned her transitional DPT from Evidence in Motion. Michelle is a practicing physical therapist in manual outpatient orthopedics with a passion for helping others with lifelong fitness. She is also a certified Rock Steady Boxing Coach and has been coaching with the program for 3+ years.
Michelle took over the Winston- Salem Rock Steady Boxing affiliate in 2023.

Ginny Menzi
Ginny has been a certified personal trainer since 1997, working with adults needing modifications to their workout programs. She enjoys helping people achieve their goals through strength and movement. Positivity is the key! She loves to cheer people on as they see improvements in their daily lives through exercise. “If I can help someone find their strength, inside or out, I will have fulfilled my purpose!” She has been an assistant coach with Rock Steady Boxing for 3+ years.
