    • Workout on your own

  • $125 per month for unlimited classes

  • We do not accept any insurance.

  • Give Michelle a call at 336-528-4530 and she can help you decide which class to observe. We will do an assessment once you decide to join to make sure you are in a class that challenges your abilities with the ultimate goal of keeping you safe.

  • In our level 3,4 class we encourage boxers to bring another person along to be what we call a Corner Person.  This individual is there to help the coaches to keep you safe.  Your Corner Person may help with balance, memory, form, and sometimes motivation.

    1. Observe a class

    2. Complete a liability waiver and medical consent

    3. Schedule an assessment.  This assessment allows us to do some baseline tests, answer any questions, and instruct you in some of the basic punches.

    4. Join a class!

  • The goal of Rock Steady Boxing is designed as a group exercise class that challenges all things Parkinsons. We will do our best to make sure that you are safe but sometimes falls happen, just as they do in real life. Another goal of Rock Steady Boxing is to teach you how to get up from those falls. We may actually practice falling! Many boxers have told us that when they have fallen in their backyard or a parking lot, they believe they were able to get up off the ground BECAUSE of Rock Steady Boxing.

  • We have gloves that you can purchase for $0.  But you can also purchase your own.

  • Boxers continue to tell me they come back for the “community”.  Others come back because it is a great way to continue to or begin to work out, at a challenging intensity with others who have similar circumstances.  We focus on big movements, balance, memory, strength, and cardio.

My personal favorites for participating in Rock Steady Boxing:

    1. “YOU GET TO HIT STUFF!”  (Hitting an inanimate object is a great stress reliever)

    2. It’s not your “mama’s” average workout class.  How fun is it to tell other people that your workout is BOXING!
